From Olives to Oil

Apple Dark Balsamic Vinegar


This aged Balsamic Vinegar is naturally infused with apples.  This partners well with FROM OLIVES TO OIL Walnut Oil or Cinnamon EVOO and a little bit of honey for a wonderful vinaigrette.  It is simply delicious as a marinade for pork when added to your favorite flavored FROM OLIVES TO OIL EVOO and grill seasoning.   Simmer it with some white wine and sugar until concentrated and drizzle over grilled salmon.


Creamy Apple Vinaigrette


  • ¼ c. FROM OLIVES TO OIL Apple Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. red onion, finely chopped
  • ½ c. chopped apples
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. FROM OLIVES TO OIL Cinnamon EVOO
  • 1 Tbsp. nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ½ tsp. FROM OLIVES TO OIL  Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp. coarsely ground black pepper


Combine all ingredients in a blender.  Process until smooth.

Serve over mixed greens and top with fresh apple slices, goat cheese and toasted pecans.
